Step-down care
Florida licenses step-down levels of care including day or night treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and standard outpatient counseling. Moving through these gradually keeps support in place while you return to work, school and family life.
Recovery residences
Florida defines a recovery residence as housing offered as a peer-supported, alcohol-free and drug-free living environment. A residence may only advertise as "certified" if it holds a certificate from the state-approved credentialing entity, which inspects before certifying and at least once a year after. DCF has approved the Florida Association of Recovery Residences to certify residences.
